When I first started this blog it was intended to be a vehicle for shameless self promotion of my art work as well as an on-line warehouse to archive images of the work. It basically still is, however, I have expanded the concept and will occasionally write about other artists or exhibits, galleries etc. that I find interesting. An informal arts journal I guess.

I work in oils, charcoal and pen & ink. Favorite subjects are Western art, wildlife, horses, dogs, still lifes, portraits, and "trompe l'oiel" (French for "fool the eye" where items are painted lifesize and so realistic you believe you could pick them up). I have been greatly blessed to have this gift of art given to me by my Heavenly Father. All of my art is guaranteed.
